on the flip side, how did Penn State's anemic offense and terrible O-Line win a shootout with Michigan? I didn't see a single snap of the game That's easy. They ran 35 counter plays that Michigan got faked out on every time. Then they ran 15 rollout passes that saw every Penn State receiver open by 15 yards. Your walk-on QB had over 250 yards passing. I'm recording ESPNU's replay tonight. I'll be interested to see if PSU can build on this

if someone on ND's staff told a student to go up in a lift when the conditions were hazardous for the student to do so, someone needs to be held liable. I doubt the kid went up on his own. The safe (and legal) operation of machinery falls on the employer

Those lifts have signage on them that states clearly that operating in high winds is prohibited. It would be nice of Indiana OSHA dropped the hammer on Notre Dame for criminal negligence, but I'm not holding my breath

seeing the team drive to the basket a ton but still get no foul calls was beyond frustrating. I feel like the post-Jordan Bulls have had the refs swallow the whistle more often than not. Hinrich was the king of driving the lane, getting thrown to the grown by 3 guys, and getting no calls, and now it's happening to Rose and everyone else.

Korver was the one who stuck out as truly awful. Couldn't find a shot, terrible defense, ticky-tack fouls, played with his head up his butt. The lack of 2nd or 3rd scoring options is going to be maddening (again). Gibson/Noah will get points off of offensive rebounds, but they aren't guys you design plays for. [expletive] Boozer and his drunken broken hand.

think the program directors at ESPN regret having a PSU/UM prime time game this week? maybe not, since both schools have huge fan bases, but not exactly a game with any sort of conference/national implications

I think I have read somewhere that MSU would win any 3 way tiebreaker with any of the legit Big Ten contenders. if it's about who goes to the Rose Bowl, the tiebreaker is always "who hasn't been for the longest time?"
