    The least deal is pretty bad. The Jackets have a pretty loyal fan base (you see a ton of gear being worn around town), but the team just isn't run very well. They're also kinda screwed being the same division as Chicago and Detroit. But the arena is pretty nice, and it's in a great area (bars, restaurants, the AAA ballpark (which is amazing) and three concert venues all within a few blocks of each other).

    I still can't believe that Columbus can hold two pro sports teams. It's a bad TV market, but it's the biggest state capitol in the country. Our (metro) population is bigger than Memphis, Charlotte, Detroit, Baltimore, Boston, DC, Nashville, Denver, Milwaukee, St. Louis.....

    This is what happens when a team isn't going to spend more money and gets desperate to appeal to the fans. It's also endemic of a sport that refuses to hire ANYONE as a manager who isn't a former player. I mean, if you're going to hire a former Sox player, at least pick a catcher. RON KARKOVICE, COME ON DOWN!

    yeah because psu has just been giving up truckloads of points this year. If you consider yourself a fan of a program, yet don't know how to spell your starting Quarterback's name, you probably don't know what you are talking about. oh, PSU has a starting QB? When did that start? I thought they just flipped a coin each possession When did that start? Well, the beginning of each game, actually. (neat thing about football: the player who plays the first offensive series, that guy gets called "the starter") TEACH ME ALL YOU KNOW

If you consider yourself a fan of a program, yet don't know how to spell your starting Quarterback's name, you probably don't know what you are talking about. oh, PSU has a starting QB?     Local radio guys don't know why Herron and Posey haven't been booted from the team already. Multiple infractions of NCAA rules and already missing at least half the season. I listened to the AD's press conference, and he says he's still confident that they wont' get hit with lack of institutional control, because, in his words, "these aren't systemic issues, but individual occurrences with specific players and one booster'
