  1. 7:30 into the 1st quarter and the Bills haven't touched the ball yet
  2. Horton was Jake Arrieta 2.0 and PCA put up a 5.4 fWAR. I think regression (if even just a little) is far more likely than improvement on those numbers
  3. I think PCA and Horton are the most obvious candidates for regression
  4. The Mets seem like a place you go if you want to underachieve and not win the championship.
  5. Their entire offense (outside of Andy Pages) was over 30 years old last year. They are paying a ton of money for players who are on the back half of their careers. Its a ton of money tied up in Betts (32), Freeman (35), Ohtani (30), etc.
  6. He's certainly un upgrade for them in the OF. For a team that spends a bajillion dollars, they had a rough OF in terms of fWAR
  7. And the Dodgers will still lose 60 games this year so *shrug*
  8. But are they set up for 2032?
  9. How much to half the owners hate the Dodgers right now. Makes their crying "poor" ring so hollow
  10. Who can name Darnold's backup (without looking it up)?
  11. That was just the raw milk talking
  12. Saw that the Dodgers also offered 3 years, but at a much lower AAV than the Mets. What's the point?
  13. I don't think that's a leadership thing, I think it's a "fitting into the culture" thing. PCA 100% fits into the culture, while Tucker always seemed uncomfortable in that dugout *shrug*
  14. Sure, just pointing out that most "self-funded" stadiums still have a bajillion tax dollars helping them out
  15. The state doesn't have to "fund" the stadium. They can just give the owners insane tax breaks/incentives that save them hundreds of millions of dollars
  16. I always felt like Tucker's body language was kinda "meh" all the time. Even doing the "raise the roof" celebration after a hit felt insincere
  17. The difference between 58% and 65% completion is 2.3 completions/game. Drops alone account for that
  18. Bengals are the most stubborn team in the league when it comes to firing terrible coaches. How many years too long did they keep Marvin Lewis?
  19. 75% of the AFC North has no head coach
  20. I swear "completion rate" is the new "batting average", where dumdums put WAY too much weight into it without ANY context
  21. Arenado and Contreras out with no significant signings. What a time to be a Cardinals fan LOL
  22. But you both need to ignore the user AND the user's posts (for some reason). It's two separate actions
