  1. Sure, he's given up 9 hits, but he hasn't walked anyone......right?
  2. Yes, but he's getting zero chase on his breaking stuff. It's like they know it's coming and don't even attempt a swing.
  3. Worst Shota start since he signed? He's had a couple of blow up games, but this is Ben Brown-esque
  4. Sox are scoring like 8-9 runs/game over the past week. I can see why
  5. Hopefully this is one of those games where Shota struggles in the first and then makes an adjustment and locks it down the rest of the way. There was at least one or two other games this year where that happened
  6. I don't like Busch leading off. Let him protect the middle of the lineup
  7. Isaac Paredes is out with a "significant" hamstring injury, so the Astros are probably also in on Suarez
  8. So are we using this thread or the other one?
  9. Shows that Arizona are sellers. Hope other teams wise up and start selling as well
  10. In the world's smallest sample size, Matt Shaw is hitting .474 with 3 HR, 6 RBi, and a 1.421 OPS since the ASB
  11. Sounds like an injured toe
  12. Right. The Dodgers and Astros have been in the "built for the WS" mode for 10 years, and while they've each made it to 4 WS, they've only won half the time. 2 titles in 10 years is nothing to be ashamed of, but being "built for it" doesn't guarantee anything.
  13. Shaw heating up is a fun footnote to an otherwise gross game
  14. Dansby with his obligatory "totally embarrassing strikeout that looks like he doesn't know how to hit"
