Reminds me of Sammy. Once he learned to lay off sliders he became an absolute monster. There were almost no holes in his swing (maybe up and in, somewhat). Soler isn't Sammy, but there's no reason he can't be a consistent .275 / .340 / .475 type guy if he learns to lay off the breaking pitch. No holes in his swing? He averaged around 155-160 K's/year from 1998-2003
The success of the Cubs had meant that I have zero fucks to give about the Bears this year. I can't remember the last time I've been less excited about an NFL season
4.6 fWAR, good for 8th among NL position players and 16th for MLB position players. And he's probably the third best hitter behind Rizzo and Schwarber.
Actually *puts down jelly plate* theo is [expletive] and bad always cracks me the [expletive] up when you go the "make fun of internet neckbeards" route lmao It's insulting to the universe that you have Alcantara and Javy in the same sig as Lord Schwarbs
Yep. Found it. viewtopic.php?f=26&t=64218&p=3243448&hilit=votto#p3243448 And then I admitted I was wrong, so.... And then you forgot that he was good again, which is what we're making fun of. I didn't forget he was good. I also didn't know he was really really good.
