Especially when it's outside and 95F and the bride insists on an hour ceremony In a church without air conditioning A wedding I went to in North Carolina this summer expressly said on the invitation that people could wear whatever they wanted (at a business/church casual-level) and still most of the suckers showed up completely dressed up to the nines and sweating their bits off in an un-air conditioned church. Madness. Worst one I've been to was a buddy of mine from grad school. He got married in Iowa City, and a bunch of people from school drove there from Chicago. We get there and the ceremony is over (they had a tiny thing on campus with just close family) and the reception was in this former church (basically the entire altar/pews were cleared out so it was a big open room). No air conditioning. It was about 30 minutes of dinner, a few speeches, and then it was over. We all look at each other like "we drove all this way for THAT?", and then proceeded straight into the City to hit as many bars as possible

    I scheduled a vacation to visit my parents in Florida from 10/10-10/12. Bad timing if/when the Cubs advance to the LDS

    We had a spring wedding, and I almost completely missed my own rehearsal dinner because I was stuck in playoff traffic for the Bulls

So we can see who is stingy and who is slutty with their "likes" :D

    I use Board index. I don't like active topics because I kind of have a pattern about which forums I visit first each time.

    Sports fans who attend live games suck in general. If you go to a football game and stand up to cheer when the team gets a first down, some fuddy duddy behind you complains that they can't see and can you please stay seated. They need to make playoff tickets $5 and let the first 35000 drunks in the gate.

    I've seen some sites that just post a sticky with a monthly donation goal and keep it updated as people donate. Seems to work well in motivating people to chip in

    Sadly, he'll be a top 10 pick not if he continues to play terribly. he's slipping down draft boards right now, and quickly. a weird comment to make after his best game of the year (60% passing, nearly 300 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT)

    lol, you lost to [expletive] temple and have the worst basketball team in the conference The basketball team is a joke and deserves all the derision you want to throw at it. The Templenloss was embarrassing, but at least the school spends money and tries to get good coaches rather than throw $300k at a nobody and then saying "oh shucks, we stink, but thanks for the $22 million"
