    Pretty good last four days. Would have been nice if the Pirates lost one but I'm not going to complain since they just lost 5 of 6 to the Nats and Reds. Picked up three games on each the Cards, Giants and Mets. The Cards/Pirates have a 4-game series after we play the Cards next week, so it's a good opportunity to gain some ground. Isn't the opposite true? Unless the Cubs for 4-0 during that same stretch (and the Cards/Bucs split), they aren't going to gain much ground

    I'm finding that on iPhone, the site "hangs" when loading pages. I click a link, the page loads about 15%, hangs for 5-10 seconds, then finishes loading. It's not all the time, but it's happening more often than not (and doesn't happen on any other sites I frequent)

    its not that i hate it here... more the opposite people hate me here lol No, people are annoyed that you showed up, threads a-blazin', before taking time to learn what NSBB was all about. Then, when posters voiced their annoyances, you upped the volume rather than stepping back and figuring out why they were annoyed

    I think shedding Anisimov's contract gives them enough space. The Jackets just gave out a bunch of extensions last year, so I don't think they have tons of cap space, but I haven't looke that closely this off season

    I would be if I was you. Dano is going to be good. Tropp.....eh. Anisimov was a bigger part of the team a few seasons ago, but between Johansen 's breakout and Dubinsky moving from wing to center, he's dropped to a 3rd liner

    Bringing an infant to a game (or a movie, or an amusement park, or.....) seems like more trouble than it's worth, but as long as said infant doesn't actively ruin my experience, who cares?

    They had the NCAA game on at the bar last night, and I was amazed at how infrequently they stopped play. Players were constantly knocking each other down, getting tripped up, etc. and the refs just let them play. The contrast to FIFA was startling

    As a Cubs fan, I hate you. You fan of death. You supporter of pure evil. And I hate Wong because of his batting stance. It annoys me to look at. Isn't Wong's stance just a lefty version of Castro/Soler?
