    What's funny is that I'm oddly calm about it. Probably because this is what I expected all year, so seeing this scene is like "yeah, that's right. This is what is supposed to be happening", not "holy horsefeathers, I can't believe this!"

    We are reconsidering our plans right now. For one, the game 1 loss means that there's no chance of a clinch on Saturday (the only day we'll be there), so there's no NEED to join the mob in Wrigleyville. Now with restaurants all over jacking up prices, we're wondering if its worth it at all. Plans pending....

    Agreed re: interleague play. They also need to do away with player stats "resetting" when they're traded between leagues midseason.

    It makes me sleep better knowing that I have all my hair and less grey beard than old man Rossy I actually am looking forward to the touch of gray/salt and pepper look in my hair/beard. poor man's george clooney comp likely I have a little, mostly higher up (in line with my ears). My gray hairs are limited to the sides of my head. I've just been very lucky to reach 41 with zero signs of balding.
