  1. With him out, that entire division is now officially a complete horsefeathers show
  2. Because they played a 60 game season last year so everyone pitched a fraction of what they typically do (and minor leaguers even less) and then were expected to go back to a full workload? Maybe, just seems like an epidemic this postseason.
  3. Then I guess the different question is why is every single pitcher hurt right now?
  4. I don't understand people bitching about watching something they purport to enjoy being too long and boring. Baseball is like an opera and for a fan of the teams/game, the ups and downs and pauses make it that much more compelling. It's for the World Series where one mistake can make or break a season. Because nothing is happening in that extra time. We're not getting 4 hours of baseball, we're getting 2.5 hours of baseball spread over four hours. It's the sports equivalent of a Judd Apatow movie. More like we're getting 30 minutes of baseball action over 4 hours. Also, horsefeathers these managers and their overmanaging. Greinke had given up 3 hits on 56 pitches over 4 innings the other night and Dusty pulled him. Why? Why is this the thing now? We had World Series for over 100 years where the starter went 6 or 7 innings, now managers can't get out of their own way.
  5. At least this one had runs. Game 3 was over the 2 hour mark, it was 1-0 and they weren’t even through 5. Overmanaging + too many commercials + no pitch clock
  6. This game has been on for 2hrs 15 min and we aren't even half way done. JFC
  7. A lot of people lost money on that Jets game. Probably lost in their survivor pools as well
  8. Vuc really tanked those shooting numbers Yes, though Ball wasn't great either
  9. Didn't expect PSU to win, but their effort was pretty impressive. OSU is just better
  10. Terrible shooting, but the free throw shooting (and defense) bailed them out
  11. They can control their own fate by beating Penn State and Ohio State right? Not if MSU also defeats PSU and OSU
  12. As someone with no skin in this game, it has been very entertaining
  13. What a weird ending. Total brain fart by Green
  14. This quick turn around and hot start just puts a fine point on how awful the GarPax era was (and how many years they wasted being a mediocre mess)
  15. Easily, Penn State is winning at most, two more games this season, Rut and MD. The MD game is questionable, its at MD, could see them getting blown out or winning a close game. It's insane that they beat Wiscy on the road and Auburn at home, but completely turned into a pumpkin against Iowa and can't recover
  16. I've seen that exact same dumb sentiment from some conservative "friends" on social media. UGH
  17. That's all you had to say
  18. Him begging out of Columbus has turned out to be a total blessing for the Blue Jackets

    NFL Week 7

Bengals are fun. Chiefs are bad Jets are brutal
  20. Ohio State by 100 points
  21. 18 look TD through regulation and 9 OT is not to be believed
  22. Sure, but managers have been over-managing the postseason for 6 or 7 years now. Maddon did it during the Cubs’ title year
  23. I know that this will sound like "Old Man Shake Fist at Cloud", but when did managers lose their minds when it comes to managing their pitching staffs in the post season? The fact that a team could potentially have to throw a "bullpen game" in a Game 7 is mind numbing. Why does a team that won 100+ games suddenly think they only have like two good starters and that they need to micromanage every game?

    NFL Week 7

Miami either has assurances that Watson will be reinstated/allowed to play (or they're just dumb, which is just as likely)
