I'm sure I'll get Detroit vs. Philly or something instead Did you say in another thread that you have Directv? If so, the past two years, they have just given me Sunday Ticket Max for free. I didn't even ask. I just got an email saying it was a gift for being a loyal customer. It was in my "promotions" tab of my gmail, not in my main inbox, so it might be easy to miss. I'm not sure how loyal you need to be (certain number of years as a customer) or if it is partly because I had paid for it some years ago so they knew I might be interested. I'll look. I've never had Sunday Ticket before, though I've been a DirecTV customer for 17 years

Baseball has forever made the mistake of trying to appeal more to casual fans than making the product better for die-hards. That said, cutting down time between pitches is a good thing. While some argue that football has more downtime than action (4-6 second play followed by 30 seconds of huddle), at least SOMETHING happens every play. To have 20+ seconds between pitches when there is no guarantee that the next pitch will be anything is very ponderous.

Mediocre? They're top 5-6 in both run scored and runs allowed. They're pretty clearly a good team Derwood, they are playing in NL Central. They are 30-17 in the division, below .500 against the West, 14-9 against the East, and .500 in interleague. They are a mediocre team. lol, ok
