    he's certainly not a star and no he wasn't better than everyone on the cubs. huh? positional value matters. a lot. especially in this extreme of a case. Better in terms of raw numbers (OPS, OPS+, better than all but one Cub in wRC+, etc.) But yes, positional value does matter, fair point.
