    Ok, let's assume your are correct. Prior was signficantly damaged by the 2003 season. I think we would agree the damage was significant, because he has failed to make it out of 4 straight spring trainings and has had several trips to the DL. Now, I know a little about sportsmedicine, because I have been in that field for 15 years, and I know what diagnostic tests and orthopaedic dr's are capable of finding. If Prior had something going on, that was significant enouph to cause his past 4 years of history, it is incredibly unlikely, he would have had a clean structural bill of health from numerous MRI's and many different physicians, time and time again. That's why I don't believe in the lingering effect of 03 abuse theory. Anything causing him so much trouble, is not going undectable for this long. you're assuming that the Cubs, who had a history of truth-stretching when it came to injuries, was completely forthright about Prior's bill of health

    Please provide an example of these "many pitchers" that had similar loads. Remember, we aren't talking IP, we're talking pitches. Every pitcher in the 1960s? if you think every pitcher in the 1960's threw as hard with as much torque on their arms as Wood and Prior you are truly fooling yourself

    What a crock. Charter is some operation. I just talked to some guy whose name I could not understand. He said they are still negotiating and that it "looks promising." Whatever that means. This is so aggravating. maybe Charter needs to sit back in their chair and whisper. This creates a dominant position for them. Then they should change rooms at the last minute or suddenly leave the room

    What's the gay joke? Apparently best friends forever is gay? I read it as boy friend forever. It's been like 20 years since i was in middle school, so I'm not "down" with the note-passing abbreviations FYI, the standard joke making the rounds is about ARod being desperate for people, especially Jeter, to like him. He's said some things that can be construed as being sad that he has no friends. I guess I'm just not up on my A-Rod gossip

    did i miss the positive steroids test on mcgwire? I'm pretty sure he admitted he took illegal substances that, at the time, were not specifically against the rules in MLB. the andro stuff? Isn't that available at GNC? No, Androstenedione was banned under the pro-hormones ban that was enacted on January 20, 2005. ok, so was it available at GNC in 1998 when he was taking it?
