Fired? They're getting bonuses from the networks for mazimizing their potential ratings. it's not like the games are all on one network though. You think with games spread across ABC, ESPN and TNT that they could shorten up this first round just a touch. The teams are getting more days off now than they ever did in the regular season. Talk about momentum killers. ETA: The first round is scheduled to take TWO WEEKS if it goes 7 games. It's ludicrous

If I remember right, that's why the Cubs are on CSN+ anyway, because the Bulls bumped them there-the Cubs were originally supposed to be on the channel the Bulls are going to be on tonight. the Cubs were supposed to be on TNT? -

Your later statement could prove to be correct. Your former statement indicates that you are no more than 15 yrs old. The Cubs had some bad teams in the mid to late 1970s and the early 1980s. This team is worse. Much, much worse. This team may be playing horribly, but you can't possibly say that this collection of players is worse than the teams that featured Scott Servais, Jose Reyes, Scott Bullett, Tuffy Rhodes, Frank Castillo, Jim Bullinger, Mark Clark, Mel Rojas, Kevin Orie or Rey Sanchez

i can't believe they still can't get this opening round right. You would think that moving to a best of 7 series would shorten the gaps between games, but no, here we are having Game 2 THREE DAYS after Game 1. Schedule makers should be fired

Well said Wow, even the fans are getting the loser attitude. Sure the Cubs have been playing poor, but to say there is nothing they can do to win is idiotic. The only thing the Cubs are cursed with is a moron for a GM that doesn't have a clue how to assemble a team. The Cubs could get Earl Weaver to manage this team and they would still be in last place. Hendry has to go, it is too bad they let him saddle the team long term before he left. they have a team that should be winning. they're 0-5 in 1 run games and derrek lee has no home runs. weird stuff is happening. you better start believing in curses, becaue this curse is a dilly.
