Weber did it first. And Pearl's a scumbag. Ummm, Weber did it first? Perhaps someone should tell that to Ray Mears, who did it in the 60's for the Vols, and is the reason why Pearl does it now. Got me on that, was not aware. Thanks for not contending Pearl being a scumbag. :) When your facts are wrong (orange blazer) it's easy to argue. When you opinion is, not so much. And I have no interest in arguing for the sake of arguing. You dislike Pearl. So be it. AS a UT fan, I like him. NOthing you say will change that. arguing over which coach started wearing a hideously ugly orange jacket first? priceless

Doesn't help that his team led the NFL in dropped passes (around 47, IIRC). yeah, as i said he needs better receivers. plexiglass is actually fine as a #1, but tumor is getting old at the #2, and beyond that it's been a wasteland of bums (sinorice moss, tim carter, steve smith - who may not end up as a bum, but he's not good right now, david tyree, etc.) but i'm not going to feel too bad for him. donovan mcnabb has a career rating of 85.8, and that's throwing to the likes of todd stinkston and james trash. he's had far less to work with most years than burress, tumor and shockey. Plexiglass? Tumor? Trash? Stinkston? Vagiants? How old are you again?

--I love it! I think, just like Ichiro, it might take him a while to adjust to MLB pitching. I remember listening to a Spring Training game through WGN radio's website, that day the Cubs were playing the Mariners. In his first at bat against Kerry Wood, Ichiro ended up striking out. Pat Hughes said (or maybe it was Ronnie) that Ichiro was completely over matched in that at bat against Woody. i think many speculated that Ichiro was purposely hitting poorly in spring training to lull AL pitchers into a false sense of security -

Neither. The cookie-cutter stadiums are all but gone (mostly by billionaires extorting cities for millions) and then making money off the naming rights. both are crappy, but neither is the worst thing ever
