only works if most of the games are played on campus stadiums. NO WAY schools give up the gate receipts they get from 8 home games. Penn State is going to sell 107,000 tickets when they play Coastal Carolina next year....why would they volunteer to shorten their season?

Michigan hasn't committed yet. The Capital One Bowl is down to Illinois and Michigan. If Illinois doesn't get picked by the BCS, they'll play in that bowl and Michigan will play in the Champs Sports. If Illinois does get picked, then Michigan plays in the Capital One Bowl. someone just said Michigan was in the Champ Sports bowl That was me, and they havent committed yet. That was where I was saying they could go depending on some outcomes. my mistake

right, the Capitol One Bowl is open for Illinois at this point (with Wisconsin, Michigan and Penn State already committed) which is why I don't think they make the BCS unless OSU makes the NC game. Who would play in the Big 10 slot for the Cap One instead? Hawaii?

i only meant top 14 doesn't guarantee anything, not that it doesn't matter if your'e out of the top 14 or not. 4 top 14 teams won't make BCS bowls, and i bet Illinois is one of them

Not going to matter because when OU beats Mizzou tonight, the Illini will be playing in the Rose, while Ohio State plays for the NC. top 14 doesn't matter, and they WOULD be an at-large. What do you mean top 14 doesnt matter? You have to be in the top 14 to get in a BCS game, and I said I doubt they would get passed over for an at large. Not really sure why you have WOULD like that. 14 teams for 10 slots. and you're making it sound like they aren't an at-large. why wouldn't your at-large get passed for another (say, Georgia or Tennesse or Hawaii or Missouri or Oklahoma or Kansas or.....)

so is Michigan going to get screwed if Missouri wins tonight? By my count, if Missouri and WVU win, that puts OSU in the Rose Bowl, and if Illinois doesn't get an at large, they'll be in the Capitol One. Wisconsin has already accepted a bid for the Outback and Penn State for the Alamo, so where does that put Michigan? Holiday?

i'm curious....is there language in player contracts that specifically disallow PED's, and if so, could these players have their contracts voided by their teams if named in the report? -
unfortunately, a lot of other teams ran by florida's secondary too unfortunately?

because Favre has had the exact same team/coaches in each of the last 9 meetings, and the Cowboys have been exactly the same team each time too
