  1. just in time for PSU to play them this weekend. sweet
  2. quite the convincing argument there! i'm not dextermorgan, buddy, i'm not so easily riled. nice try starting trouble again though but i'm feeling generous, so: 85 more hits 157 more doubles 95 more HR 457 more RBI 40 more walks 60 more points of OPS 9 more points of OPS+ than Ryne Sandberg, in just ~100 more AB's Note: I do think Kent is a HOF, but........ Those numbers are kinda inflated because teams would pitch around Bonds to face Kent. While Dawson was really good for the Cubs, he was no Barry Bonds. So YOU could make a case that Bonds made Kent a HOF. With that said, when opportunity knocks......and Kent definately took advantage of the opportunity of player with Bonds. a lot of players were protected by other HoF'ers
  3. Sammy doesn't have no turn coat, born-again brothers. why would they turn against Sammy when he used his charity front to set them up with sweet houses back in the DR?
  4. so we've gone from the possibility of Morgan NOT doing Sunday Night Baseball, to Morgan AND Phillips? christ almighty...
  5. probably, and I don't know the fielding stats enough to compare him to, say, Sandberg in that regard. but to have that many offensive stats better than a recently inducted 2B (in a comparable # of PA's) makes me say yes on Kent
  6. considering the # of arguments you've gotten into recently, it's easy to mistake your "joke" for being a jerk. what? where have i gotten into an argument? the dumb pie/olson thread that i didnt start? ooooookay buddy! you're doing it right now. but I digress. Kent should definitely be in the HoF.

  9. i think he deserves consideration. pretty amazing power numbers for a 2B
  10. I was hoping for a PSU win, but wasn't expecting it to be that ugly. My thin hopes for PSU to stay on the NCAA bubble are alive for another day
  11. Kadokura hasn't had a good season for a few years now
  12. Bradley
  13. You shouldn't...because that is exactly what needs to happen(The Bulls need to be in the lottery again). 2010 isn't going to happen(we might get Wade, but not a big man)..so the draft is our only shot at a good big guy to pair with Rose. I'm not sure why you care about this team anymore, since you're convinced that the team will never do anything right
  14. None of the guys we've gotten really seem like the kind of guys Towers would want for Peavy. The only move that is even marginal on its own is DeRosa. The others make perfect sense on their own. Huh? Isn't Olson a name that Towers has had rumored interest in for a while, aside from being one of the more prominently mentioned names in the deals that never were a month and a half ago? yes. they supposedly offered Khalil Greene for him straight up
  15. pretty good success rate with those lists
  16. thank god Rozner is here to tell us that the Bears aren't winning because they just don't want to enough...or something
  17. If they couldn't get the funding for a retractable roof, it might have still been a decent idea to build it without the retractable roof, but where you could add one later. Not sure how feasible that would be, but I'm guessing they freeze their butts off playing night games there in April and late September. http://www.weather.com/weather/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USMN0503
  18. If Arizona wins the Super Bowl, I see Warner retiring. If not, I still think there's a 60-40 chance that Warner retires. I don't know the specifics of Leinart's deal, but I'd assume he probably has another two years on his deal. I don't think they'd trade him unless they know that they can get a good haul for him. he signed a 6 year deal in 2006
  19. Interesting. I like his "quality win" and "bad loss" highlights in the schedule portion.
  20. PSU has Michigan and Iowa at home this week. A sweep would be great, as it gets REALLY ugly from there on out.
  21. That hit last night McGahee was not a helmet hit. Though the Steeler's give out a lot of cheap hits that was a hard hit that looked like it could have been helmet to helmet, but Clark led with his shoulder If he led with his shoulder how come his head made the first contact because McGahee lowered his head at the last second. McGahee's helmet hit the side of the Steeler player's helmet. I don't think it was intended to be a dirty hit
  22. someone PM Mizzou
  23. judging by the # of views these videos have, I'm going to go ahead and guess that 95% of them are from this site
  24. at least we haven't had to look at his wife much this time around
  25. Yeah, I don't see how you can say it's a giant turd of a game. I'm not sure there was any team in the league this year who was super exciting every week, much less two. I like the Steelers, and the Cards are a good story and a team that is peaking at the right time.
