    I still think this is one of those rare instances where the stats DON'T tell the story. He's not really getting hit hard. His BABIP is ridiculous. His defense has let him down.

    I think there should absolutely be mandatory minimum sentencing for alcohol/drug related traffic violations if your BAL is above a certain level (not .08). I'm tired of seeing drunk drivers kill pedestrians and get out of jail after just a couple of years. If you make the penalties extreme for the violations, you'll make people think twice about doing it. There are some European countries where DUI convictions are several years in jail. Would you risk driving home "kinda buzzed" if it meant 3-5 years in prison?

    LOL. Haha, that's right you're from around there too. I don't really care one way or the other, but I think it's fun that local fans finally have something to cheer about. I've gathered that prior to this season, Columbus fans more or less agree with your assessment of the franchise.

    Hey I'd like for everyone in the central to make the playoffs... but I HAVE to root for this game to clinch home ice. I don't feel comfortable facing Detroit for the final 2 games. I'll be honest, I can name like 2 guys on the Blue Jackets. It's just hard not to get a little wrapped up in their success around here, as the city is pretty much going crazy over the prospect of finally landing their first ever playoff berth.
