I sent him a comment along the lines of "Your GM did you a favor....your team is better without Kennedy or Miles." His response: "You've obviously never watched baseball. Kennedy I will give you - he did suck. But Miles and Eckstein? If you have watched baseball, then you don't understand the game." LOL
I'm still praying for it to be Jeter oh my yes. It would be epic to see how the media reacted to that The Bronx would implode. they'd figure out how to blame it on A-Rod and/or the Red Sox
Didn't The Police concert totally eff up the field last year? Why go through that again? Also, there are few groups of people I hate more than the Wrigleyville Neighborhood Association
and the East Coast is five guys going to Duke, I assume Duke hasn't finalized scholarships for next year's class, which is why the McD's East team hasn't been set yet. makes sense, since the McD's East team is always just "whoever Duke recruited"
because committing a felony and cheating at a game are the same thing If its cheating at a game that pays you millions of dollars for being successful, I can see how they are the same thing. who are they stealing from? the teams (who were pretty complicit in the steroid use)? the fans who were being entertained?
the panel on MLBN's Hot Stove show didn't entirely convince me that they weren't taking stuff themselves. Sean Casey got all sweaty and weird when Vasgerjian was asking him about it.
MLB Network just posted A-Rod's numbers pre, during, and post his 2001-03 steroid use, and the difference in SLG was like .035 while the batting average stayed the same. He didn't have some insane power spike
