  1. actually, they aren't. At least not this year.
  2. me too. Hopefully I'm out of the bottom half
  3. I don't know about you but I'd rather be a fan of the 83 win Cardinals team. 116 wins no ring is just depressing. And hey look, Lou was the manager of that team. You didn't answer the question. I didn't ask which you'd rather be a fan of.
  4. Just to summarize then: 83 win 2006 Cardinals team >>>>> 116 win 2001 Mariners team (re: Ring)
  5. I know, because Jordan never missed a free throw or made a turn over in his career.
  6. +1 -1000000 If you're going to weight 3 playoff games the same as 162 regular season games, you just aren't being fair or realistic
  7. Cleveland shooting like crap tonight.
  8. I don't know about the contract situation. Of course what he makes has nothing to do with his ability. Aaron Miles makes more than Orlando Hudson....
  9. but how many teams have a playoff-caliber backup goalie?
  10. so what comes after Mega Cobs? Super Mega Cobs?
  11. As I said, I don't care if they fight in the NHL. I'm just thrwoing fuel on the fire :flame:
  12. I don't mind fighting in the NHL, but I wonder if NHL fans think there should be fighting in other sports as well. If someone commits an intentional foul on your superstar, should he be able to get up and take some swings at the guy? If a pitcher hits your All-Star, should he be able to retaliate? I mean, your superstars might get hurt otherwise, right? Just playing devil's advocate here.
  13. You are taking pleasure in Wood's struggles...why? I'm not taking pleasure in it. The sig is a reminder that we aren't missing anything in Wood right now You have no idea how he's be performing if he was with us. His stuff has been fine. You're right, I don't, so let's not pretend that he'd be better than Gregg. We don't know if he'd be better than worse. It's a false premise
  14. why does a 2 run deficit feel like a 12 run deficit?
  15. the Cubs' Padre-like offense is playing about as well as the Padres' Padre-like offense
