  1. Cue smug RedFlash post
  2. Well this game didn't suck. Wasn't expecting such dominance from PSU
  3. I spoke too soon. Nice blitz by Michigan
  4. PSU is moving the ball with ease right now
  5. Play the game, retire, and then bitch about how the current players suck compared to when you played.
  6. PSU @ UM has me full of dread. PSU just can't beat Michigan or Iowa
  7. Northwestern rattles off 29 unanswered points to beat the Hoosiers 29-28
  8. Iowa has the best record but MSU is favored by 1 at home, which means one of these teams is overrated.
  9. that's insane which part?
  10. Andy, what I think we're slowly seeing here is that BCS teams are going more and more towards scheduling complete patsies OOC, so there is no incentive for anyone to play ND (and potentially screw themselves out of NC consideration). If/when ND's contracts with some of the Big Ten teams run out, you could be looking at schedules with USC, 1 or 2 other BCS schools, and then 8 or 9 mid-majors. Not that it will ever happen, but a quick and easy way to get BCS schools to schedule better would be to make a rule that wins over FCS schools don't count towards bowl eligibility.
  11. Yes, Kiffin can be an arse and still show up in those orange jersey, but it will cost his team 15 yards on the kickoff to begin both halves. I'm pretty sure CNS is the one being a doucey arse here
  12. and Ichiro didn't even play in 2000 I know, it's sick. I assume that all of your Cubs numbers were accumulated just on the Cubs, right?
  13. BR has him at 275
  14. that's some terrible grammar
  15. Amazing that the Cub hits leader (Ramirez) has less than 1/2 the hits of the MLB hits leader (Ichiro). Even if Ramirez had played on the Cubs in 01 and 02, he still wouldn't be close
  16. Okay, maybe. But if you had to choose one, who would you choose?
  17. Yeah the way it was said was dumb. I think he was meaning more that he would rather have a guy who manages the game than a guy who gun slings it everywhere and has a lot of turnovers (as well as big plays). I would agree with that point. No, it's [expletive] stupid. That team would probably be 6-0 with Cutler. The Bears would not be 6-0 with Orton It's not like the Bears are 6-0 with Cutler either. Correct, because football is a team game where one guy isn't always the difference. There are a dozen QB's you could put on the Broncos and they'd do just as well. The media is turning Orton into the NFL's David Eckstein here
  18. Yeah the way it was said was dumb. 19. Jon Gruden: "Do you want a guy who can throw or a guy who wins? Kyle Orton is a winner." [expletive] you you [expletive] idiot
  20. does this mean that Rocket is going to be the focus of Sulley's scorn this week?
  21. They are 19th in yards allowed/game, 28th in pass yards allowed, 11th in rush yards and 14th in points/game. They aren't terrible, but they are a slight notch below the Bears defensively, I believe. middle of the pack is a large improvement over past years is all I'm saying. I've seen more Bengals games than Bears, and I've been very impressed with the Cincy defense at times, particularly the linebackers
  22. The Bengals defense is much, much better than past years. I don't see the Bears getting much going on the ground again. Hopefully they can be on the right end of the turnover margin and can squeak one out on the road.
