Yeah, in the long run, it's not that big. But we're overreacting because we just had 2 extra-inning losses to a cupcake team we won't play again until August. And we were a blown HR call (although Rivas might've scored anyway) in the 1st or one easy fly ball catch in the 9th from winning. But really, we are still 8 games over. We should be fine if we can take care of bussiness in September. Let's just hope the Cards lose again. They are tied 1-1 now. Whether this loss is big or not, we won't really know until September. If it is a tight division and/or wild card race in the final week then it could loom rather large. Every loss snatched from the jaws of victory counts equally in the end. I just hope that if we don't make the playoffs, we don't look back at any losses before September and say "this is why we didn't get in". At worst, we'll be leading the wild card after today. So it's not an uphill battle like it was in 07.
