pretty much. the approach isn't bad (despite what everyone in this thread seems to think), but everyone in the lineup is just getting poor cuts at hittable pitches. it happens. I'm sorry, how is first/second pitch hacking a good approach? I'd much rather see hitters work counts, which the Cubs seem opposed to--this evening at least. Piniero was everything right down the middle, do you want them to take a strike to start every at bat?
