  1. Raiders just signed Tommy Kelly to the biggest contract ever for a DT, even though he has been playing DE and is only going to move to DT this year, and hes coming off a torn ACL.
  2. It doesn't sound like a fun procedure. Ow
  3. I just read a bunch of mock drafts, and I hate the idea of us taking Matt Ryan at #3 with so many other holes. By far, my dream scenario of all the mock drafts on the internet is this one. http://walterfootball.com/draft2008.php Jake Long, Brian Brohm, Pat Sims, Curtis Lofton then some tight end
  4. Orel is good. i see what you did there
  5. im not clear on this issue, but if he has to be convicted first to be pardoned, isn't there a pretty big chance that W is not in office long enough to pardon him?
  6. To be fair to Lou, what is he supposed to say about his boss?
  7. That's exactly what Billy Packer does, too. He is my least favorite of the regular announcers in any sport.
  8. My dream lineup Soriano (2B) Murton (LF) Fukudome (RF) Ramirez (3B) Greene (SS) Lee (1B) Soto © Lofton/Fuld/Willits (CF) Z, Hill, Burnett, Lilly, Lieber
  9. Gotta have those horses, dude
  10. Soriano 2nd pitch of the season
  11. Another clubhouse rapist is the last thing we need. =D>
  12. You just had to bring in Prior to this thread.
  13. Somebody had to do this Geovany Soto
  14. My mom is a big West Virginia fan, and she said when they hired Huggins that she would not find much joy rooting for them even if they one. Huggins is her least favorite coach in recent memory. Yet, during the season, she is taking joy out of all the wins. It sounds good on paper to want a clean program that loses as opposed to a dirty program that wins, but doesn't happen in real life.
  15. Well, that sucks
  16. Most of Crumpler's problems with the team were with Petrino. He felt Petrino was not doing all the could do to do win the games, playing young players over more skilled veterans, basically throwing the season for the future (which he is not going to be a part of).
  17. The only two I was surprised about were Coleman and Crumpler, obviously there is no need for Leftwich now, and Gandy is a 37 year old offensive lineman that would probably lose his job to one of the O-Lineman we pick in the draft. We had major problems at DT last year in the 4-3 with Coleman as the only average player playing at DT, now we have to find two good DT's. Crumpler did not play too well this season, part of that was the QB situation, part of that is eroding skills, but was a little disgruntled last year, with the rebuilding that came along, so he probably would have been very disgruntled this year, with a lot of young players around him. The new GM, that is part of the patriots tree, did not want to take that chance
  18. SAY IT. Geovany Soto had to be done
  19. why not? and who says it will be Grossman? it very well could be ORton. either way, I think people make a bigger deal out of the QB pos then is really needed. Johnson would GREATLY improve a position we need improving. i don't think you can make too big a deal about the QB position in regards to a WR, as the WR is rendered completely useless when the QB can't get the ball to him. Anybody that disagrees with this should talk to Steve Smith.
  20. More than Redick? I can definitely see Redick, but Paulus?
  21. Tyler Hansbrough is who I see the Bulls picking. Although I would be surprised to see him leave for the NBA.
