    and FWIW, rumor is Arenas will opt out this summer... also according to Dan Bernstein of the Score..the Bulls are fed up with Tyrus THomas, and he is as good as gone by the trade deadline and they really don't care what they get back.

    I'd say there is more optimism for the Bears as well..maybe the White Sox. When you are stuck in mediocrity in the NBA there isn't much you can do...its very hard to add a superstar via FA, and outside the draft lottery..best bet for the Bulls is to blow up this team, and rebuild(with a GM that has a clue)

    Ha, thats laughable. He did more in his short stint as interim team president, then sweater vest did in his entire tenure. What do you think he did? He is a marketing man, and by all accounts, a pretty good one. That's what the Blackhawks need, in a lot of ways. It certainly appears he opened the path for Hendry to get some spending money to improve the club.
