    You're joking, right? Jose Calderon wasn't in the league at the time of that phone call, dude. Considering the phone call took place in June of 2006, facts would suggest otherwise. I don't even think you watched the video, the main context is Coangelo wanted to trade up to get Marcus Williams, who's stock was sliding.

    Jose Calderon says hi. You can also leverage a 3rd team in trades, trade for picks..etc. etc. My point on Paxson's inability to be pro-active still stands.

    Younger players who showed a lot of upside should be untouchable.. Wrong. There should be a very short list of untochable players in the NBA.off the top of my head 1) Lebron James 2) Kobe Bryant 3) Dwayne Wade 4) Dwight Howard 5) Chris Paul 6)Carmelo Anthony To declare an entire "roster", AN ENTIRE ROSTER!, as untouchable without even listening to an offer is assinine. Paxson is a freakin plague. You have absolutely no idea what Toronto was offering. The fact is that we were not a selling team; nor should we have been. That is part of my point, Paxson wouldn't even listen to an offer from Coangelo. You can always say no, but why not just see what the other team will offer for a ceratin player?!? This furthers my suspicisons that Paxson has poor relationships with other GM's because of his snobbish attitdue. How the hell can you declare an entire roster untochable?! Un freaking real.

    I thought I'd share this video with you Bulls fans... It is basically a behind the scenes interview of the Raptors War room with Brian Coangelo on draft night 2006. Long story short he is trying to trade up to grab Marcus WIlliams...focus in begining @ 1:48. He calls up Pax curious about trading up, but while on the phone asks him about the avialabily of current Bulls, and is brushed off within seconds. Essentially no one on the roster is availabe for trade. I think that basically sums up everything you need to know about John Paxson

    In the highlight vid I posted,(1:48) he shows great ability to avoid the rush and make a throw on the run, granted it is only one play, but it isnt like he has no footwork whatsoever.

    Dude is amazing, problem is the word is out on how much the Bears love him, so there is a good chance he will be gone by the Bears 2nd round pick..so they may have to trade down in the first. Its funny, he left Pitt because they wouldn't give him a shot over Palko..anyone wanna guess what genious made that call? He's a freaking statue in the pocket. The guy's footwork is not all that good. That simply isnt true.

    I would never suggest handing a spot to Gallagher, I'm just lamenting the uphill battle he will undoublty face for fair competition for the job.

    I don't really agree with that. If Gallagher is on the team, I think he'll have a legit opportunity to start ahead of Dempster/Lieber/Marquis (if he's on the team). We all know how Lou feels about Marquis, and I doubt he feels much better about Dempster starting. Well, Gallagher may be able leapfrong Marquis, but he has an uphill battle over Dempster and Lieber. This is such a stupid organization at times. Thank goodness they were able to buy themselves out of alot of problems.

    Some Flacco highlights This guys arm is amazing. As for Berrian, not franchising him his a huge mistake. He isn't worth that money, but the Bears have no suitable replacement, so they need to buy themselves a season, IMO.

    Gallagher is not going to get a fair chance to start. Both our GM and Manager have hardons for old gargage like Dempster, Marquis, and Lieber.
