  1. As long as Hughes focuses on driving to the basket for his points, he should do well.
  2. There's no contract on the line, this time around.
  3. I like the move solely because it rids us of an absolutely horrible basketball player in Wallace, and frees up his salary to be able to look to the future. I'm not really sure about the rest, and I don't think anyone else can be either. To me this is all about cutting loose the ball and chain known as "Big Ben." And for that, I am happy. Enjoy watching him suck for you, Cleveland. I'm sure Cleveland is thinking the same thing to Chicago fans about Hughes :D . The difference between Wallance and Hughes is that Hughes can actually be a capable NBA player now and then, can't say the same for Ben
  4. Thus leaving Wally open for jump shots. They won't be leaving Wally, they will be leaving Wallace, who can't even dunk under the basket with no defenders around him. And no, that isn't hyperbole.
  5. Aquiring Wallace was a terrible move by Cleveland. They now have the worst offensive player in the NBA. Expect even more double teams for Lebron.
  6. yeah but everyone assumes that some of those guys are going to be moving elsewhere. it's very possible that they all stay in the place they were drafted, then you're up crap creek without a paddle because you've shed a lot of salary and there's nobody out there to sign. Well, in theory you should be in the lottery under that plan. I'd rather be really bad than medicore in the NBA.
  7. Bulls should have alot of $$$ free for the 2010 season as well. That is what the focus needs to be, Summer 2010.
  8. Yeah, that's what I figured. Is that going to be the offseason of Lebron? yes. and Bosh, and Wade, I believe.
  9. No they won't buyout Hughes. He will actually be very valuable during the 2009-10 season because of his expiring contract and that years FA class. I really hate trade-salary rules in the NBA, they are so stupid.
  10. oh well ,at least Hughes can create now and then.
  11. I messed up...Gooden's expires next year....Hughes in 2 years..ughhhhh..maybe we can pawn Hughes off on Isiah.
  12. He is at 12 million this year. only one more year left. But actually, having is expiring next year might come in handy.
  13. I wouldn't be suprised if the Bulls simply try and buy out Hughes.
  14. ? Tyrus should benfit from this trade.
  15. Wow, what am I missing? His numbers don't look that great though I did like him when he turned pro. He hasn't got the minutes, though coming to Chicago won't change that up.....
  16. its sucks Duhon is still here, but oh well.
  17. A guard that can finish....
  18. Shannon [expletive] Brown baby. I'm really stoked about this.
  19. i'm all for getting rid of Wallace. and stating that his PER once lead rookies...c'mon. it may have been true, but you'd really rather have Noah than Kevin Durant? oh christ...... good answer Seriously enough of the strawman. I never argued Noah over is better than Durant. PER is one of the better metrics for evaulating players, and I was just pointing that Noah is actually having a decent rookie year.
  20. ok, if we get Shannon Brown, I take back everything bad I sad about Pax, well not really, but I really like Brown.
  21. i'm all for getting rid of Wallace. and stating that his PER once lead rookies...c'mon. it may have been true, but you'd really rather have Noah than Kevin Durant? oh christ......
  22. Noah in theory could put up what Chandler is doing right now. Do we know yet? No. But getting rid of Wallace allows the Bulls to see what they have in Noah, so yes, this is a good move. I really is that simple.
  23. How does this make Paxon any better as a GM? All he is doing is trading trash for trash. Trash that he signed. As I said the only positive is that Noah, and TT should get more playing time. Noah getting more playing time is a positive? Are you serious? Noah is garbage Actually, he has one of the highest Rookie PER's this year. THE FUTURE MVP What a worthless post Are you serious with that?
  24. Should we be excited about Simmons? Midly. He was a hot topic back in 2006, but really hasn't amounted to anything so far. Low Risk, high reward pickup.
  25. I'm estatic about getting Simmons, he might not amount to anything, but tons and tons of upside.
