  1. I believe he said he could be the #1 WR if given the opportunity. Who said? Mark Bradley?
  2. Mark Bradley?!?!? This is a guy who couldn't beat out Rashied Davis on the depth chart this past year. And now he is the #1 WR? Pass me some booze, it will be a long season.
  3. Absolutly nothing left at WR. Horrible planning by Angelo. Make no mistake, 2008 is a rebulding year.
  4. "Chicago Bears QB's - 2007" isn't limited to Rex Grossman. Jackson without doubt is the worst QB in the NFL.
  5. there wasn't anyone to throw him the ball in chicago either The medicore QB situation in Chicago is still better than the absolute crap known as Tavaris Jackson.
  6. Too bad there isn't anyone to throw him the ball.
  7. I don't know how Johnson is overrated, those 2 guys he has been playing behind, Boldin and Fitz..they are pretty good ya know.
  8. ha, have fun BB playing with the crapfest known as Tavaris Jackson.
  9. That last point is a myth. They didn't have a running game in 2006. Sub 4 yards per attempt. Pathetic. The D can be dominant. Contrary to Peter King's absurd opinion, they were devestated by injury in 2007. He wouldn't take much to vault them back up to dominant status. Likewise, while they currently don't have an offensive line, there's no reason why by September 2008 they can't have a decent one, and that is going to be the most important aspect affecting your third point. The running game might not have been great in 2006, but it was still somewhat existent. Enough to make teams somewhat respect the PA pass. Also considering the fact that the Bears don't figure to be major players for any top FA lineman, and todays commment by Angelo in the paper that he prefers veteran olineman(basically indicating that if an Olineman is drafted high, he won't start), I think a capable Oline by next season is a pipe dream.
  10. I don't think the "Mike Brown hurt" excuse is valid, not anymore. This team should have been "Mike Brown" proofed along time ago.
  11. i don't buy that. if they can stay healthy at key positions, they can win the north. every team has holes, every team has injuries. this bear team has enough talent to compete. i'd like to see them re-sign briggs and move that line around a bit, but i'm not writing next season off by any means. I agree. They aren't that different from the 06 team. In 2006 we had a dominant D. We don't anymore In 2006 we had a serviable oline Now it is amoung the worst in the NFL In 2006 we had a running game Now it is amoung the worst in the NFL
  12. this has to happen, doesn't it? i was waiting for it all last year. He was pretty terrible the last 3 games of 2007.
  13. That lound sound you will hear in 2008, will be Derek Anderson crashing back to earth.
  14. Boers and Berstein on the Score yesterday seemed to indicate they believe the Bears know they are in rebuilding mode, but managment doesn't want to admit it because it will piss off all the meathead fans out there. I understand their point. This is no doubt a rebuilding year. The holes on this team can't be plugged in 1 season, so you just try to add the most talent to the roster, meaning, if Mendenhall is on the board @14 you draft him, and worry about an olineman later.
  15. What would be better, the addition of Mendenhall, or the subtraction of Benson...lol.
  16. Tonight I tuned into the Mav's game(I do this every now and then) and yep, sure enough...the refs still pander to Dirk Nowitzki more than any player in the game..quite sad actually.

  18. Probably my biggest issue with McFadden is his pad level when he runs.
  19. Mendenhall will have a much better NFL career. Just my personal opinion.
  20. IMO, the best combination of size/speed was Bo Jackson, though I think AD is right up there too.
  21. At this point I don't think Mendallhall will be on the board @ 14. :(
  22. lol, McFadden does not have near the agility and change of direction skills that Sanders had. He is the exception, not the rule.
  23. oh, I could probably go a few places with this, but I'll take the high road.... :D
  24. I'm going to have to eat crow on Hughes, I though he was done honestly. Granted it has only been a few games, but what a nice suprise. oh, and Ben Wallace tonight: 6 pts, 6 rebounds in 26 minutes..lol.
  25. meh, it's business, I could really care less.
