  1. I also don't get the whole Booker>Moose theory..Booker was brutal last season in terms of dropped passes.
  2. The Bears won before with the same QB and less talent at WR. Every WR on the roster now is better than Rashied Davis (the #3 WR in 06) was then. At least 1/2 are better than Moose was in 06. Are you referring to 2005? I don't see how our current WR's are better than that. People keep downlplaying the loss of Berrian, but he is one of the best deep route runners in the NFL. He's referring to 2006. Well that is crazy..one could argue that Bernard Berrian was the offensive MVP of that team with his deep playmaking abilities.

  4. If it's terrible, it won't be because of those things. Or will it be because we are relying on a 2nd round draft pick RB and another RB with 2 major leg injuries? Or a rookie starting at one of the most dificult positions to play as a rookie(LT), on an offensive line that was brutal last season and made no major upgrades other than the draft. Bingo. I actually think the running game will improve and the offensive line has no where to go but up..but the WR's situation is just beyond brutal IMO.

  6. Look at our WR's and QB situaion..how can this offense be anything but terrible.

  13. You shouldn't be able to do three years of coke while taking all that time off and immediately be this good, it's outlandish cocaine is a helluva drug.
  14. way to let that one get away Hendry....
  15. Clynes had done a helluva job this hear..a helluva job.
  16. Not really regarding Soriano @ leadoff..but isn't a goal to get your best hitters the most PA's? Therefore isn't it possible to "sabotage" a lineup by putting your best hitters further down in the order?
  17. I'm going to side with wrigley23, to balance the debate out.
  18. Holy overreaction, Batman. Neither Lilly nor Marquis even come remotely close to "brutal." Both have winning records and ERAs of around 4.50 (Marquis slightly below, Lilly a little higher). Both have some starts that are stinkers, but neither has numbers out of line for a 4th or 5th starter.Seriously? You are using W-L record as an evaulation of a pitcher? Is that still allowed? he also used ERA, neither of theirs' are bad. a sane person realizes that jason marquis and ted lilly have not been brutal. They have been pretty close, and while they may hack it as #4 or #5 starters on alot of teams, a great team(aka...this team) should aim higher. If Rich Hill can revert back to his 2007 self, I much rather have him as the # 4 starter.
