  1. d'oh. Hope Koyie gets hit or walks, I guess...
  2. cst_cubs says it's because Cueto is "A righty with good stuff"
  3. it's less disregard and more complete lack of control He's just throwing 'em and hoping they wind up somewhere in the vicinity of the strike zone.
  4. cst_cubs twitter: "Gregg a little achy and unavailable tonight. Not considered an injury. Team calls it a tired arm." Haha. Team calls it a tired arm. Code for, Lou tired of watching him blow games. Yeah, those 5 BS are an abomination

  6. Meh, Kosuke wouldn't have beaten that.
  7. I think this is only the second time he's pitched for the Cubs
  8. Nice outing Wells. It's not you're fault Lou is an idiot.
  9. so eh... Lou seems to have that annoying tendency to leave pitchers in too long as well.
  10. Just for once I'd like to see Bradley step up to a right handed pitcher and bat right handed.
  11. Sadly, very few people use two hands to catch a ball anymore. That's one thing my son will learn when he's old enough, though. You'd just think with how his year has gone so far, he'd make every effort to avoid botching routine plays. But yea, I know better now. I'd be happy if he could just remember how many outs there were. I think he caught a ball the other day to end the inning and then fired it back into the field as if the runner was going to tag. What do you prefer: him doing that to end the inning or him throwing it into the crowd with only 2 outs?
  12. Votto is the only player in that lineup that deserves being on a MLB team.
  13. Maybe we can make Dempster our closer again?
  14. Do you even follow baseball? Go look at their stats and their contracts and try and type this sentence again with a straight face. Gregg has an ERA under 4 and he kicked ass in June and July. Suddenly he has two bad games and all this kneejerk [expletive] comes out. People like you are an embarrassment to our fan base. Try and stay level for at least one day, please. IMB! spittin fire! :clapping: I find it amusing that someone like IMB is calling ME an embarrassment. Find a mirror, pal. Actually, IMB! is a pretty intelligent guy when it comes to baseball. I enjoy reading his input in sports topics. And most of the time he's not talking about sports he's hilarious and obviously tongue-in-cheek.
  15. Yeah, they don't care. That's why they jump around all excited like little kids when they get a big win, and look like they wanna kill someone when they lose.
  16. If he can pitch a complete game, he'll be able to, so most likely in his next start he'll qualify Pitchers need 1 inning pitched per team game played to qualify, right?
  17. So how many more innings does Randy need to be eligible for the ERA leader board?

Gregg has been more than acceptable out there (except for a few outings, but then again, it's an embarrassment to only get 1 run off of Ricky freakin' Nolasco)
