  1. This team is a terrible pile of turds. Tonights game was a weird fluke against a more terrible pile of turds.
  2. I'll still take Michael, but I don't know how anyone could ding LeBron for that series. I think this Warriors teams likely beats any of the Bulls championship teams. You can't really use losing this series as a knock against LeBron in my opinion (though some of his lack of hustle plays last night were kinda week)
  3. We suck so bad we may as well cancel our previous years championship. We are about to enter a 110 year drought.
  4. Durant hitting LeBron on the head on LeBron's dunk should have been his 3rd foul and maybe a flagrant that's the type of shot that is called a flagrant at times. NBA refs have to be the worst in sports.
  5. If the Cavs take this one I think they win the series
  6. I'll defer to the smarties here but yes I think that's wrong. We should be thrilled with a draw Probably. It just seemed like we had some changes to win it (chances to lose it too) It's probably my American sports "ties suck" mentality that won't let me celebrate a tie I guess.
  7. My soccer knowledge blows and I know the US barely ever does anything here so a draw is a great accomplishment but I can't help but feel a tad disappointed they didn't steal this. Is this wrong?
  8. I'm saying the Brewers suck and that they'll be falling out of the race quickly. Okay that probably accurate. But we are going to have to play better than .500 baseball to knock them out of the race. Yeah, nothing about the Central screams "this team is falling out of the race any time soon".
  9. I kinda miss classic, playoff basketball slugfests. these 40-50 point quarters are a bit much for me.
  10. Not really. He's a young rich ballplayer who knocked up a lady, got married and apparently started cheating right away, frequently. This isn't some 7-year itch thing or a relationship that has drifted apart. If she's outing him on instagram the way she did it's not some mutual thing where the spark just isn't there anymore. Then obviously the relationship wasn't at a certain point yet where they should have been married. Relationships are mutual and for whatever reason he wasn't getting what he needed/wanted from her. I just don't care about the moral outrage at someone cheating. Especially to the level where a person is a "piece of horsefeathers" for it. I think that's silly and shortsighted.
  11. Oh, fine, whatever, I get it and think it's stupid how is it stupid? do you not judge people for other horsefeathers ways they might treat people poorly and inflict emotional harm on them? i am obviously much less bothered by his infidelity than by the possibility that he physically harmed her in some way, but there's no question that it is a horsefeathers thing to do and makes him a horsefeathers person. Cheating is a complex thing that involves a whole lot of factors and since I'm not in their (or anyone else's)relationship I think it's silly to make moral judgments about someone else's relationship issue. Relationships horsefeathers up all the time. I don't see why that makes someone who did something in the context of that relationship a bad person. I guess there could be an instance of a power assertion thing that would be pretty bad. Like, if he did cheat a bunch and then blame her for it like was quoted and that starts to get in the realm of abusive but that's not the same thing as general infidelity.
  12. I get if you don't feel it yourself but it's weird that you don't understand it. People generally like when people treat other people well and act in a generally moral way. A public figure who cheats on their spouse (and not some open marriage kind of way) goes against that, so people get upset. Oh, fine, whatever, I get it and think it's stupid
  13. I've never really understood the public, moral outrage at cheating so I honestly don't care about that horsefeathers but I really hope he never was abusive. We'll probably never know what the true story is there so that sucks.
  14. maybe they give Boylan a chance to be a head coach. Or do the recent NBA trend of hiring recently retired PGs and hire Hinrich (kidding of course) I don't think any top coaching candidate is going to join this pile of endless mediocrity Uh, Bulls have a love affair with the state of Iowa it seems and Kirk's dad coached so it's in the blood or something...don't tempt them
  15. The warriors should win barring any injuries/suspensions. The Cavs are gonna have a hard time holding them under 110-20 a game, their defense is pretty bad. I mostly agree but LeBron has been preparing all season for this series.
  16. Part of me thinks LeBron is going to "unexpectedly" lead Cleveland to the title, the other part of me things the Warriors sweep or win in 5.
  17. this dumb inning has lasted longer than last nights game
  18. Would have been awesome if he passed him on the bases though
  19. Well....this could get irritating very soon
