    Yeah apparently he's above the rule against removing your helmet now They might not have called it because he was already on the sidelines and came out of the game but seems kind of lame that it wasn't called.

    I really hate the fact one can recover your own fumble forward and then get the ball at the spot where you recovered. It rewards you for having a bad play. Or maybe I'm just pissed at allowing third and a third of the football field. And now they allow a TD. God our D sucks today.

    That drive looked like most of the drives from Sunday night. I know Rodgers throws the ball hard but that shouldn't be an excuse considering who was QB for so long.

    The Fox pregame show used to be good, but that was like 10 years ago. They're all real bad now. They seem to try to do whatever they can to appeal to the casual fan. The problem with this, if you are waking up an hour early to watch people talk about your favorite sports, are you really a casual fan?

    I'm not watching the game and don't want to take anything away from Iowa but a Gronkowski-less Arizona is bad. I'm sure that's true. I don't think too much of them. I just love to watch our defense. They'll get a realy test against Penn St though.

    and Iowa/Arizona is a 3:30 game. WTF? The selection of games this morning was awful. The only moderately intersting one, too me, was the Minnesota/Cal game and I didn't really care about that one.

    That potential 4 games back in the loss column seems a lot closer than it really is. God, I think Cubs fans deserve a miracle.

    I kind of wouldn't mind seeing the Brewers come back and win this. It'd be interesting to watch.

    Hell, if the same stuff happens tomorrow and we win Thursday, we can get to 4 GB with a sweep! Wouldn't that be hilarious. What wouldn't be hilarious is to do all of this and play like crazy the last month of the season and end up falling 2-3 games short, leaving us all winter to lament about how it took 5 months for the 2009 Cubs to get their #$*% together. So for me, it's either stay 5 or more games out of a playoff spot, or do the unthinkable. What would suck about missing by a game or two would be that there would be more fuel for even more curse talk.

    So I glanced at the standings and saw the loss column deficit and considered that coming back is possible. This is the first Cubs game I've watched in a few weeks. The question I have for myself is why do I think we have a shot?
