  1. Come on...did the Blue Jackets make the Stanley Cup Finals for 2 years in a row with similar teams. Provided the rest of the crew comes back and the injuries are minimal the rest of the year they are a lock to make the playoffs. In fact, they are only 5 points out of the 4 seed in the conference. I hate defending the Wings, but you guys make it seem like they suck. That wasn't my point. He made the point that they were even because of one game. Of course Detroit is good but they aren't a lock to make the playoffs seeing as they wouldn't be in if they started today. Sure they'll probably make it but why start stuff with Blackhawks fans when they are the best in the league and you aren't even a playoff team right now?

  4. I'd worry about making the playoffs first. The Blue Jackets played pretty evenly with the Blackhawks for one game too.
  5. I can't get on anyone for picking individual professional sport games wrong. It's like getting on someone for calling coin flip wrong really.

  7. I'd go Rivers or Favre. Brady's obnoxiousness seems to mostly be media created and he doesn't feed into it as much as he could. Rivers and Favre are annoying in San Diego and Minnesota. I'd imagine Brady would be less annoying if he weren't in Boston.
  8. One Hawkeye has sucked today and the other one was awesome (for a play at least)
  9. That was awesome. I'm kind of surprised he did that but it was awesome.
  10. Um...I thought the Chargers would beat the Colts. Now they may not get a shot at them. On the flip side, it would be funny if the Jets beat the Colts after the Colts rested their starters against them and helped put them in the playoffs.
  11. SHONN GREENE!!!!!!
  12. In a year where there have been more bad teams than I can remember (which means mediocre teams with inflated records) I'm not too surprised by the blowouts. I honestly think there are 4 good teams and they will play each other next week. I think we'll see two great games next week.
  13. Agreed after the first period. I'll take a win in Detroit any day though.
  14. SHARP!!!! DETROIT SUCKS!!!!!
  15. Wow. That was nifty.
  16. This is the way a rivalry hockey game should be played (except for the shootout thing).
  17. I'd love to put one in before OT. It'd be nice to keep them from getting a point because I'd like to keep them out of the playoffs. They would not be a fun first round match up.
  18. Did these guys forget how to play football?
  19. Yeah, frustrating to watch. I would be really frustrated if I were a Cowboy fan thankfully i hate the cowboys so this first half has been enjoyable. I'd be enjoying it if they were playing anyone else but maybe the Bears. Hopefully the Saints destroy the Vikings next week anyways.
  20. Yeah, frustrating to watch. I would be really frustrated if I were a Cowboy fan The thing is, for most of the game they've been outplaying the Vikings. They just can't stop fumbling or missing field goals or shooting themselves in the foot period.
  21. Go Saints I guess. The plus of all of this is that the Cowboys will be gone though.
  22. It's frustrating as hell to watch the Cowboys control most of the first half yet be down two scores.
  23. Ugh...Why don't you go for it there?
  24. I enjoy being able to cheer for Sharper again.
