I'm kind of in shock. I didn't expect to beat a Big Ten team let alone by 15 on the road. I'm probably going to the Ohio State game and I'm hoping hoping Iowa can pull off an upset.

why wasn't it pretty? i think you're underestimating how well they played tonight. it was a very pretty win. they dominated them for the majority of the game and the only reason the game was close was kiprusoff standing on his head for the first 2 periods. niemi was also very, very good. If Kiprusoff isn't playing as well as he played we probably win 7-1 again.

This is my favorite kind of hockey to watch. Scoreless hockey with lots of chances and good saves. It creates more tension.

it does seem like a power play would be better sometimes, but a penalty shot is still the mugh higher percentage play Probably, I guess I'd like to have the option of controlling play for two minutes which could be beneficial in the waning minutes of a game, even if you're not successful then a quick shot that has no rewards for no success.

I'm still pretty sure that I've never seen the Hawks convert on a regulation penalty shot. I wish you could choose between taking a penalty shot or a power play.
