Definitely the case, but seeing this makes me disregard the "major" conference stuff: Per Ken Pomeroy, KSU has had the toughest run to the Elite 8. Of the remaining teams, only KSU has played (and will play) at least three teams in Ken Pom's top fifteen: BYU: 10 Xavier: 15 Butler: 14 Should KSU win today, and Ken Pom gives them a 68% chance, they'll have had the toughest road to the Final Four out of ANY team in the tournament, regardless of the seeding. The only other team with a comparable schedule according to Pomeroy? Butler. Oh, I didn't mean it as a knock to K-State in any means. I just thought it was interesting.
