    Hopefully they hold on and then the Celtics and Bobcats don't try since they've clinched already. I think Detroit can beat a Bosh-less Raptors tomorrow. But I don't think they'll lose to the Knicks.

    it means a lot for a possible second round matchup Meh, it's the playoffs. You have to beat good teams anyways plus I'd rather play Vancouver then Detroit.

    2-4 isn't that big of a deal really. I would love if the offense discovered the merits of hitting the baseball though.

    I can't get too upset about a loss that doesn't mean too much and as everyone else said I think Nashville is the better match-up anyways. I like the Hawks chances against any one but Detroit and that one is a toss up so I'm ready to get started. When do the schedules get announced?

    I could see them not winning more than 75. It wouldn't be a shock to see the offense regress from last year when they weren't that good and it wouldn' be suprising to see the pitching not hold up when you have guys like Gorz and Silva in the rotation.

    The actual moral of that story is that if you truly have a pathetic offense the other two are pretty redundant. the great debate here is which one is worse ourr offense in late innings or our BP. Flip a coin I don't know but 18 runs in 6 games doesn't typically cut it. You're looking at a 486 run season if that continued, which it won't. Most relievers are crappy pitchers (thus they are relievers). Crappy pithers will allow runs from time to time (duh). Those couple of runs they've allowed late wouldn't matter if the Cubs could hit.

    It'd be nice to have an offense that I'd actually could believe in to score 2 runs in an inning.

    Today really has been a game of inches. Soriano's drop, liner back to Marshall that hit his glove, lead off hit in this inning squeezes through and the ball three pitch in the last AB. Hell if Gorz pulls that one pitch a little bit more he has a two run homer. This season is pissing me off so much.
