    Don't get so confident.... soft-tossing lefties have done terrible things to us in the past few years. I'm not 100 % confident in a win, individual baseball games are nothing but slightly weighted coin flips. I just think the weighted coin favors us tomorrow.

    I'd take a .500 road trip to open the year and I'll also take a soft tossing left against a Dusty managed team. I like our chances tomorrow.

    baseball prospectus said that marmol couldn't throw a ball straight if he tried, which is pretty true. I'd just send hitters up and take the chance that he can't throw three strikes in 7 pitches. A win tomorrow would make for a .500 road trip. That be nice.

    Eh... based on what? 2009 and 2005 are all Lee has on Aramis. 2009 and 2005 are also better than anything aramis has done in his career, and they were basically even in 2007 (the other year where they were both healthy) with lee's OPS being OBP heavy. i prefer him over aramis every single time. though i love rammy. I agree, not to mention the defense Lee plays. I don't know much about defensive stats but isn't Aramis a pretty good defensive player?

    There's your problem. huh? Stop trying to make inferences about player's state of mind or feelings. You or I or anyone else who can only watch them on screens will never be able to be accurate with it. This should basically be the number one rule for any sports fan.

    I think the Preds. Less chance of a hot goalie, less offensive juice when playing at full strength. I was kind of thinking the same thing. We should be able to beat either though.
