  1. I'm happy that now we should face a Bears team that won't care. On the other hand, I'm not sure how I feel about going to Philly to face Vick. Someone who I don't think the Packers have played well against ever. That's not important now though. We still have to take care of business and the Bears would love to knock us out. I still don't see that game being easy.
  2. It's so frustrating to watch opposing QB's pick us apart all the time (granted Gabbert is very good). On the flip side it's very cool to see Coker playing so well with all the turmoil we've had, especially at that position. The script is writing itself well for another blown 4th Qtr lead.
  3. #1 seed is still in play for the Bears next week, however unlikely it may be. Yeah, but the Falcons will probably win before the Packers/Bears game (it's at noon correct) so it won't be by then. I thought it was moved to 3:15. The the Bears/Packers was but I think the Falcons play at noon.

  5. I just hope Illinois isn't able to set up their student section right behind one of the baskets again. That was embarrassing last year..
  6. Hoping for the Bears getting locked into the 2 seed so they have nothing to play for this week, it's going to be odd rooting for the Vikings to give the Bears a first round bye.
  7. BUT HE WAS SO FOCUSED AND WANTED TO WIN BADLY!!!!!
  8. It'd be kind of funny if that happened and then Washington beat the Giants while the Saints beat the Bucs making this game meaningless period. EDIT:Didn't see the Giants game was moved too.
  9. Yes, because when it was 14-14 after the Giants scored two TD's to tie the game they remembered that they blew a lead the week before and fell apart.
  10. Can't wait until next week. We bring that effort from here on out we aren't losing again.
  11. Miami's looking really good. I'm curious as to how they would play against Boston now.
  12. That game sucked. Oh well, it's just one game.
  13. I love games like this.
  14. There could be worse things that getting paid a lot of money to be crappy white guy fan favorite in the NBA. He seems to love it.
  15. Usually you're pretty good when you can beat another NBA team by 50.
  16. Philadelphia has 11 wins. How?
  17. Win please. I want the Clippers game out of my mind.
  18. Win the next two and make the playoffs. With Rodgers healthy we'd definitely be a threat to make a run. Don't win the next two and most likely miss the playoffs and hopefully we get rid of McCarthy. I could live with either scenario. (Assuming a playoff miss means no more McCarthy).
  19. I don't feel like the Bulls ever play well against the Clippers. Is there any truth to this?
  20. Iowa wrestling won 9 straight titles in the late 70's through mid-80's and are in the midst of a long winning streak right now themselves and are the three time defending champions. It's fun to look up some of the dominance that has taken place in different college sports. Apparently Kenyon College has won 31 straight Division III national championships in swimming.
  21. I'm a little upset that my two favorite non-Cubs (Dunn and Greinke) now play for arch-rivals
  22. I was going to say I loved him for his clutch, extra-innings triple in the 2003 NLCS, but B-R says that was Glanville. How many bad CFs did that team have? I just looked them up. That team had some awful players on it period. Lenny Harris. Are you not impressed with .484 OPS he had with us? He does have the most pinch hits of all time after all.

  24. He's even more exciting to listen to during a huge upset. Yeah Gus is going to bring some magic with him. And he's going to have a ton of fun saying Melsahn Basabe. AND MELSAHN BASABE MISSES ANOTHER FREE THROW!!!!!
  25. I used to like the idea of a 16 team playoff but the odds of some random small school team winning a game would be so low, as everyone else has said, it'd be kind of pointless. There is no anything could happen scenario making it worthless. Top teams just don't lose to those teams. I would love to see a playoff but I don't hate the BCS. I just wish they took out the humans completely. That seems to ruin the process. They should come up with a good formula and let the computers decide the rankings and the championship game.
