  1. Score....stop....score...win.
  2. I hate the fact that the ball is out of bounds when it goes over the back board and touches nothing. The hoop is in front of the end line so it makes no sense to me. Anyways, pull this [expletive] out.
  3. Is it too much to ask to beat New Jersey? What a shitty game this has been.
  4. should have been and 1.
  5. We seem to play better when the 2nd team is out there lately. Granted the second teams of bad teams are going to be really bad but still. And I kind of like CJ Watson for some reason.
  6. NBA refs suck.
  7. Hey, Rose gets murdered and no call. That wasn't Rose going up too strong or whatever, that was just BS.
  8. Maybe that's the stretch that ends Bogans playing significant time on the Bulls. Ok, probably not.
  9. The Nets have to have the most douchey looking players ever. And Lopez takes the cake as the biggest one on the team. I hate that guy.
  10. I hope Blyleven wears this to his induction ceremony http://www.razzball.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/blylevenfarting.JPG
  11. Someone needs to start a better hall of fame where only good players get in and bad ones get left out.
  12. Brandon and the fans will probably have less patience with the new coach, as well. Especially with the late firing, it could take a few years before the new coach can really put together a staff he likes. Add in the effect this will have on the recruiting class next month and potential transfers and you've got a recipe for taking a step back. Big name programs are going to be coming across this problem more and more. This isn't pre-1993 college football. Coaching changes, particularly frequent ones, can be very damaging to football programs and the big programs rarely have the necessary patience to let a coach build a program. I think big time programs think they can just grab a coach and people will flock to their school because of there name (the schools name) thus they think they can fire a coach when ever they need to. The problem is when every school is on all the time recruits can watch everyone play so it's not like all the exposure is to big time schools like it used to be.
  13. I really believe Michigan is making a huge mistake. I don't see how they aren't mediocre for a while longer still unless they hire a huge name. I mean, my guess is they'll want to run a traditional offense again (I don't know for sure, I haven't followed too closely, it just seems like a lot of fans thought RichRod was gimmicky) which is going to mean a lot of turnover. You'd think that with the potential turnover of players it will be a year or two before they are at this years level again.
  14. I wish Boston, Miami or Orlando would drop some games while we were playing like this/these teams. It'd be cool if we could have the best record in the East when Noah gets back.
  15. OSU blowing this lead would be amusing.
  16. My bigger problem was the two times Iowa players (IIRC Brommer and McCabe) took the ball away from him, under the Iowa basket, and they called fouls on them. The second one, Sullinger basically handed the ball to McCabe. I can't wait until Iowa is good enough to take advantage of crappy refs. They aren't at that point...yet. i don't think iowa will ever be that good, but this pampering of sullinger is a disgrace. To be fair, if you're a ref and you see Andrew Brommer ever do something positive against a guy like Sullinger you have to figure he cheated.
  17. Man, Iowa is fun to watch considering how bad they are. I'm starting to feel McCaffery as a coach, if they could just get some players now.
  18. I'm starting to think Melsahn Basabe is legit, that makes like one and a half decent players we have.
  19. Ohio State is sleep walking. They are getting out hustled and making horrible turnovers but Iowa's playing hard. It would be cool if they won.
  20. I wouldn't mind doing it against a good team though. It's getting kind of boring playing these shitty teams.

  22. Yeah...Saints over Bears at Soldier Field in January would be quite surprising. As would Baltimore beating the Pats in Foxborough. Not to mention the whole "Packers winning 3 road games plus the SB" thing. I'm sure he's picking the Pats to lose because he cant see the Packers beating them. I'm a Packers fan so that's ultimately why I picked them but I also like to pick some upsets (realistic ones) so I figure if any team were going to make some upsets it would be the Packers and the Ravens. Neither team gets blown out thus they are going to be in any game.
  23. Packers over Eagles Saints over Seahawks. I don't see how the Seahawks move the ball and the Saints will score Ravens over Chiefs. The only way the Chiefs move the ball is by running. Ravens stop the run so it will be tough for the Chiefs to score. I do think it will be a close game though and wouldn't be surprised by an upset. Ravens play close vs everyone it seems. Jets over Colts. I just think the Jets are better although I've gone back and forth over this one. Packers over Falcons Saints over Bears Patriots over Jets Ravens over Steelers Packers over Saints Ravens over Patriots Packers over Ravens I'm drinking kool-aid on this one but what the hell.
  24. Definitely an oddity. You have a connection to Jacksonville, or just fall for them when they entered the league? When I was a kid I had an affection for expansion teams for whatever reason. I actually liked the Marlins (among other teams) before I became committed to the Cubs but that is not the case anymore.
  25. I don't know, I kind of love hearing how amazing every individual person is at football after every play.
