    Saw the Cubs play the Mets in either 93 or 94. Grace hit a walk off sac fly but I only know this because my dad used to keep the recap from the next day's newspaper for any game we have gone to. Doc Gooden pitched for the Mets

    Guy has been a valuable baseball player at the age of 22. I'm not worried about him, yet.

    4 games over .500 at home yet they've only won 16 games on the road. I'm sure plenty of bad teams have had home winning records before (the Astros are only 6 under at home) but how can you be a good team in one building but suck in others. How does playing on the road effect you as a team that much?

    He was excellent in his last start. That's good then. Haven't paid close attention the last 2 weeks or so. Hope he shows something the last couple of months.

    I had a tenth of a second moment where I got really excited that Kershaw was on the Cubs. But then I realized that was dumber than thinking Clayton Kershaw was Brett Jackson.

    Kind of disappointed that were getting single A guys but that's just a gut reaction based off the fact that I don't follow the Minors that closely.

    I watched Trout play in Cedar Rapids. He's probably going to be the best player I ever saw play in the Minors. Though I did see Prince play in single A as well.
