Iowa is not terrible. Not NCAA good, but they're far from terrible. abuck is just doing his thing. Not sure why you'd say they're not NCAA good. They might not be but it's far from a sure thing. They went 8-10 in the Big Ten last year. This year 9-9 has a decent shot at getting them in, 10-8 and they're in. The Big Ten is better but they're better too. If I had to predict Iowa's conference record, I'd say 8-10 again, +/- 1. I think 10-8 would be a best case. Pretty much what I have thought all year. Now that they beat Iowa State I think 10-8 puts them on the bubble though they have to beat Northern Iowa for that Big Ten record to have them dancing for sure.

I feel that a good broadcast team adds to baseball more than it does in any other sport because of the laid back atmosphere that baseball has. I hope he is as good as the praise he is receiving from the board. -
Oregon and Kansas State is kind of interesting since they were both in the title hunt so late in the year.

I get interested whenever a non-AQ team makes it to the BCS, just to see what they can do against a top team. It's pretty tough to see NIU not getting destroyed by Florida State though in my mind.

NFL will try to sweep this under the rug Is there any evidence that links concussion to immediate violent crime? I have a hard time believing there would be one.

I normally can't stand the Badgers but if an 8-5 Badger team won the Rose Bowl, that would pretty cool in a [expletive] year for the Big 10.

I have a hard time not seeing the playoff not getting expanded eventually. Every other sport has had a playoff that started off small and it expanded. I wouldn't be surprised if we did have a 12-16 team playoff in 15-20 years.

The Hall of Fame sucks. I mean, I'm sure the museum is awesome because baseball history is great but as far as who goes to the Hall of Fame, it's hard for me to care about that anymore.

My school will never go to a National Title game in sports people care about so for Notre Dame to go (my wife is a grad student here so I have became a bandwagon fan) is pretty cool. I hope they can give Alabama/Georgia a game.
