Weird that just a playoff birth is a letdown as a cub fan. -
This really is a miserable sport to follow.

We're 11-7 against them and have shut them out 6 times. Brewers have won 6 of the last 9. And how many would the Cubs have won but for the shutout? Disco only mentioned they're not hitting, which has been the trend against the Brewers this season. This one is a tad different. We’ve hit 5-6 rockets right at people. Not much else you can do

I thought they would only do the play-in game if it made the difference between October or going home early. If the Cubs and Brewers finish tied one of them would almost certainly have the wild card so I think they'd decide the division based on head-to-head record, right? I thought this was the case, but it's not. they still play a one game playoff for the division even if the second place team is in a wc spot. Could have a one game playoff then meet in the nlds. That’d be weird

Thinking the same thing.... Cubs fans were louder in Milwaukee I kinda get it. We’re struggling a little and blowing a division lead but having said that a lot these guys brought us a title and the nervous vibe Wrigley gets makes little sense anymore
