  1. crawford is a top tier goalie and probably the most underrated of his generation Quick research tells me that ties a record for a period from 1941
  2. One good thing about 2016 is that even if brewers fan try to take solace in the fact that at least they beat us for the division but we will always have the fact that we saw our team win and they haven’t
  3. I’ll take Machado to troll the brewers but only if he doesn’t pull a Theo free agent signing and be a let down
  4. Astros win series. Get two titles vacated or something and cubs are still defending champs. This is my new rooting interest
  5. Has there been a hard hit ball in a brewers game not hit directly to a defender?
  6. Entertaining season so far for sure.
  7. Woodruff takes Kershaw deep. What the hell?
  8. Either of these teams will lose and that’s fun. Just need the AL team to win
  9. I think this was one of the saddest moments of the show honestly. Chili Davis being fired is not sad
  10. You didn't know about the Jimmy Butler drama? It's pretty crazy. He almost got traded to Miami a few days ago, but the deal fell apart. I don't think it'll last too much longer though. I knew he wanted out but the flipping out at practice thing, not so much.
  11. I’m getting caught up on NBA stuff, this Jimmy Butler stuff is amazing
  12. Hell, I hope they win the WS, while a good team they've had an incredible number of things work out perfectly - Wade Miley? Are you kidding me? I hope Brewers fans appreciate what's happening because, there's a slim to none chance it'll happen again in their lifetime. It'll be fun next pre-season-season when everyone dismisses the Cubs and talks Brewers, Brewers while the Cubs quietly get healthy, sign Harper and blow away the NL Central. They can lose in game 7 of the NLCS and go away forever
  13. Try someone other than Ward. I doubt they can keep up the offensive pace. I’ve definitely zoned out on nhl coverage in recent years but seems like all games are high scoring this year. Is this a common thing?
  14. Vets doing things getting 4 points to start the year
  15. I don’t know how to judge hockey and I’ve gone from caring about to regular season to not caring until the conference finals to kinda following again but I assume the other team getting more chances than you and scoring on a lot of them is bad
  16. You pretty much judge front offices over the results of their signings don’t you? You can accept we failed in the Heyward signing while also accepting we built a pretty good team. I kind of think we we’re hoping The just has baseball solved when it doesn’t work that way
  17. No but we’ll leave this one up for you. http://images.performgroup.com/di/library/omnisport/fa/67/cubs-world-series-banner_vvinwnnncr7m1uzsgrtqeq2mq.jpg?t=1528863587&w=960&quality=70 They deserve to gloat a little bit but we almost have as many postseason appearances in the last 4 seasons as they do ever.
  18. I’m not even sad like in 03, 07, 08 or 15. I’m not satisfied with having won recently like last year (plus a great team beat us, no harm in that) I’m just frustrated by all the what ifs and underachievement in the second half by the offense. Good riddance 2018. Hope next year isn’t filled with rainout weirdness. Get back to being elite
  19. That’s funny since the story in the first half or so was how disappointing the pitching was
