  1. Looks like he's officially been named the starting shortstop:
  2. How to tell if your fantasy league is terrible Some good ones in there that I'm sure describe many leagues.
  3. Ducks win 5-1. My boy Andy McDonald gets the hat trick.
  4. Theriot hasn't been walking as much as I would like, and I would rather not see DLee batting 2nd. Bat Barrett 2nd, followed by Soriano, Lee, Ramirez, and I could live with that.
  5. 5 more picks before Saturday. Can we make it happen?
  6. All pretty infuriating, but I had to go with terrorism.
  7. Um, where have you been today? Cherry is already up. He was called up today with Miller going on the DL. Eyre does have to go, however, and immediately. He must not be allowed to pitch again with the Cubs leading or in striking distance; using him is effectively forfeiting the game. D'oh, I knew that. I blanked out on that in my fit of rage after Eyre blew the lead.
  8. Seriously, he has been nothing short of garbage. DFA him and call up Cherry or Rapada.
  9. I've noticed. He was one of my favorite prospects before we traded him.
  10. So much for not wanting to rush him. Tyler Clippard must be ticked off.
  11. Nice to see Holliman pitching well.
  12. Or just watch the first few minutes of Sportscenter, Baseball Tonight, and/or ESPN News.
  13. JJ Hardy is a stud. .288 Average, 5HR, 13RBI, .350 OBP, 7 K's. 7 Walks. So much for being a "black hole" in the lineup. Off topic, but I remember cbssportsline.com running a story last season about Hardy batting in the 2nd spot in the lineup and put enough thought into the title. The headline read: "Hardy Likes It in the Two-Hole"
  14. The Red Sox just hit back to back to back to back homers in a span of only 10 pitches. Sucks to be Chase Wright.
  15. I don't know. I like Z and would want to see him in Cubbie blue for years to come. But if we are certain we will lose him in the offseason and we get a good trade offer (like, for example, the Angles offering Santana and Wood) than maybe we should do it.
  16. Get well soon, Ron.
  17. From what I've heard, most Penn State alums are angry at how well he's turned out in the pro's compared to how crappy he kicked for you guys when he was there. Yeah, pretty much
  18. Robbie Gould, Penn state ulumni, singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame
