I highly doubt they trade Salty for the likes of the Jock. They could get someone of much higher value for him. Salty's value to the Braves is severely diminished if he has to change positions. It doesn't mean he'll cost less to acquire, but it does mean he'll be more likely to be dealt. The catchers in our org suck. Let's hope the Cubs are all over Salty. If the Braves deal Salty to the Cubs, they will want one of Veal, Gallagher, or Marmol. I was just gonna say that. I can't see them taking any less valuable of a player. We might as well hold onto our talent and hope Fox can put it together behind the plate and/or we draft Wieters.

Adding my 2 cents overall: I am extremely happy with the Vikings draft. Peterson and Rice will help immediately and I like McCauley and Allison's value and upside. Couldn't have asked for any better. On the other hand, the Titans have thoroughly disgusted me. I don't think I need to specify and I'm sure dew has done enough complaining for the both of us about their draft. Though Smith, Ford and Filani aren't terrible.

While I am severely disappointed with the Titans, I am rather pleased with the Vikings draft thus far. Let's see if they can continue their success into Day 2.

I agree entirely. They have a very good history of good drafting. I don't know what happened this year. It was terrible. I got all excited for Meachem, and when they announced the selection of Griffin, I swore loudly and threw a pen across the room in frustration. 2nd round they could have rebounded with Smith, but no, they took a RB who did nothing during the season. Such a crap pick. I hope Vince has fun having no one to throw to next season. Overall, I was thoroughly disgusted.
