    They're too far back for even the great St. Louis Cardinals to even come back from without Carpenter. Only thing is, their schedule from here on out isn't that tough.

    Also, I'll keep this thread going and give reviews of the games and maybe do some period by period recaps of whats going on to kind of get people knowing the players etc... also will answer questions on the rules as they come up. I am just so happy Chicagoans might be able to finally steer away from the old sentiment of "hockey sucks" because they've never watched it :)

    Baseball/Softball has no spot in the Olympics since the REAL American players aren't allowed to compete.

    Everyone should go to the VWR and have 50+ windows open... Cubs WS tickets are going to go for minimum 10x face value... you'd be stupid to not enter the free lotto.

    Now THAT IS awesome. I have been trying to do something like this but I have nowhere near the talent as him to do this. I'll just stick with my high tech excel spreadsheet that tells me every split I need to know.

    Yea they really had no chance to make the playoffs the last 3 weeks but in the last 5-6 games they pulled it out and almost snuck in... would have been a quick exit though. This year, the Hawks should basically guarantee themselves a spot, barring injuries.

    I complained about their luck for the first couple months, but now I just have come to realize that LaRussa is a great manager.

    Well luckily my sister's boyfriend's dad works for the Tribune so I'll likely have tickets in the Tribune Box... if not I will be outside Wrigley EVERY DAY.
