Whoever said that he was surprised Lou didn't come out throw a fit. I am very surprised too... this team needs some sort of spark and that might have been it. Down or not, you HAVE to get those calls right.

They promise us their young talent will carry them through and that we shouldn't worry about the lack of a second-line center. Never heard *that* one before. Sadly, I think the Blackhawks have a better chance to get out of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs (with a 2nd line center) than the Cubs do to get out of the first round of the MLB playoffs.

I'm the opposite. I feel really good about tonight and was nervous as hell yesterday. I'm pretty much the same way... I know this is a gut punch losing like we did last night... but how many of you actually thought we were going to sweep? I know it happened a lot last year... but a sweep just isn't all that common.

This is true... I won't blame the umpire for a 7-2 loss because the offense had no chance to score 7 runs based on that strike zone. But that umpire was one of the worst I've seen all year.

I got that feeling too. I think it's pretty cool what he does, if it's his hobby. It's no worse than collecting action figures or going to Star Wars conventions which other grown men do. He may be a slight douchebag about it, but if it's his hobby... leave him alone. INB4 "That's you isn't it!?" :)
