  1. Dude, we're Cubs fans. Being bi-polar comes with the "job". I used to be, but this year has changed me. I am more level headed. It must be the extreme rollercoster this season has been. BTW for all of you Lee is "dead weight" morons... his august ops is still .853 so calm the f down. Yes, but what has he done has he done today???
  2. He's aggressive but has been getting the job done, I am impressed. Yeah, he has looked pretty good.
  3. Yes, i've watched the games and they are throwing better lately. However with Weeks back up and Braun showing his true defense at 3B the teams defense is going down the tubes. Their FIP is better than the Cubs on the year but they have the 2nd worst fielding stats in the NL and thats the root cause of the teams struggles. Plus/Minus suggests the Cubs have made 67 more close plays than the Brewers, thats a huge number! So that's a fact?
  4. ...cause he grounded out? DUH, MLB players should know better.
  5. WHy is Koyie Hill still on this club?
  6. Looks like some fan are going to be late.
  7. I have a terrible feeling about this. I have a feeling Z going to give up at least 5 tonight. Well, I guess I'll change it then. Z pitches 5 innings giving up five runs, Dempster gives up 5 runs in the sixth, and the Cubs, down 10-0 in the ninth, make an amazing comeback and win 14-10 on a Lee grand slam. Is that better? Is Lee's grand slam inside-the-park? Yes, because Dunn can't field worth crap. That and Lee doesn't hit Homeruns...Speaking of that I was shocked that Ortiz only has 19 homers? I may be completely making this up, but I thought I read somewhere that Ortiz is playing hurt. I heard that too. I heard it was his knee.

  10. Patterson had 7 plate appearances and 1 start while he was up. Wow, I didn't notice he started.
  11. Z is going to dominate tonight. Cubs win 5-1
  12. Any facts to prove this? The rotation hasn't improved lately. Last five starts Capuano DATE OPP RESULT IP H R ER HR BB SO GB FB TBF #Pit Dec. Rel. 13. My ideal lineup would be Theriot Lee Soriano Ramirez Murton Derosa Pie Kendall Pitcher
  14. I'm so glad he's not with the major league team.
  15. Pie does not look like a major league batter right now. I'm curious. What does everyone think his numbers will look like next year? I'd be happy with .270/.355/.420, 12 homers, 70 RBI and 25 steals. It all depends on where they bat him. Another overrated prospect. Kerry better start throwing strikes. haha give me a break What has Pie done that shows a guy that will live up to the hype? Seriously, please explain. What has he done to prove he is overrated?
