Don't dare point out obvious observations on this board, or people will accuse you of being silly due to the fact that things like this can't be proved. I agree with what you said. Tell me, why do you think Soriano doesn't play hard? -

He's already saved his life once this year, but you're right about the hustle part, he scored a dreadful 1.8 out of 10 on the hustle scale. -
It would be an overreaction if Pie hadn't already had some significant MLB experience before this season. How many chances does he get? He's 23.

There are TWO threads that are either (a) explicitly devoted to Theriot bashing, or (b) taken over by posts bashing him. Theriot is awful. Soriano, Lee, and Ramirez have all started off badly. These statements are both true, but need not be linked at all times. Can there be threads dedicated to criticizing players not named Ryan Theriot, or is it a rule that no player can be criticized this year without also slamming Theriot? Why would you criticize players that are good four games into the season?
