Almost like a trading deadline acquisition without giving anybody up. That's sort of how I feel about Soriano too. I'm so optimistic regarding the rest of the year! I'm not sure I've ever been more proud or excited to be a Cubs fan! It's obvious that a season-ending injury is coming. For whom, Hill? Even that would hardly be devastating to their chances this year. To be honest, even if Harden has to make a relatively brief trip to the DL it wouldn't bother me that much, as long that the Cubs are extra cautious regarding his health come playoff time. I was joking. It seems like we've been too lucky. Something bad just has to happen.
