MLB to add 2nd Wild Card Team per league?

What's the point of adding another playoff team if they're only going to be in the playoffs for one day? 3/5 was enough of a crapshoot as it was. I don't like this idea at all. -

Did Thom stink of cigarette smoke? We didn't embrace, so I can't attest one way or the other. He still had shirt and tie on, while Dusty was kicking it casual in a short sleeve button down and jeans, and he was conspicuously missing his armbands.

I don't know where else to post this, but I encountered Johnny B. Baker and Thom Brennaman hanging out together at a bar here in town after the game last night. Dusty was surprisingly sans toothpick, and I got a shoulder pat from Thom as I greeted him on his way out. Somehow I missed Dusty.
